Is it still possible to get pregnant after it stops? What are the chances?

Pregnant
Confused asked:

The discharge from ovulation has slowed down a lot there is very little left to none at all. I am planning to try to get pregnant tomorrow when my husband get home from Ohio. Which wil be the the 1st of Febuary or the 17th day of my cycle. My cycle lasts 29 to 30 days. I have had this gross discharge for 3 days now. Is it still possible to get pregnant when this discharge goes away ( if it is gone tomorrow)? Is there still a possibility at all of me getting pregnant?

  3. I’m going to be honest, because I appreciate other people’s honesty with me here: It’s not really likely because your egg only lasts for about 24 hours. Sperm can survive up to 3 days but that won’t matter if your egg has already passed through. You should use ovulation tests to confirm today tomorrow and the following day…if you’re REALLY trying-

it does depend on the discharge too though- egg white like DC is usually the day you are going to ovulate- so if you’ve had that already then it’s probably passed. If it’s just been clear sticky stuff but not a LOT of it, then you still have a chance. Take the OPK and know for sure…I like the Answer brand because you get 20 tests in the box

    good luck!!!!
