Planning to get pregnant and hoping for twin girls how do i increase my chances ?
olive oil asked:
I am praying for a new baby i already have 2 and would like to start planning for a 3rd . I have always had really difficult first trimesters with the most awful morning sickness that i have to be kept in the hospital for days . Is there any preparations that i can make in advance of getting pregnant that can reduce or eliminate having morning sickness ? And all my life i want twin girls what can i do to increase my chances !!

i think all you can do is pray. theres not much you can do about either deciding how many or what you get. heh i wanted twins the first time also so i would only have to do it once, lol.

hmmm i think you may have your hopes a little high with the twin thing , but pray anyway you never know , i mean there are alot of old wives tales if you google it but a friend of mine has 2 boys did it all to have a girl ended up with another boy no that she minds shes delighted , I also have 2 boys and almost 7 weeks with our last baby hope to be a girl but as long as he/she is healthy what does it matter you have what you have for a reason

Unfortunately there is nothing you can do about the morning sickness factor. But what counts for one pregnancy does often not count for the other. Some women have had an awful first pregnancy but the second one was a walk in the park. It differs from pregnancy to pregnancy. Sadly, you will just have to wait and see what happens regarding the morning sickness. I wish you the best of luck for that one.
Twins is a difficult one. In order for you to have twins, if they are going to be non-identical, you will have to secrete two eggs at the same time during ovulation. They will need to be fertilized separately. Just as a matter of interest, when non-identical twins are in the womb they each have an amniotic sac, each with their own placenta.
In the case of identical twins a single egg is fertilized but during cell division the cell divides itself into two separate fetuses. In a case like this, they share the same amniotic sac with the same placenta.
The likelihood of conceiving twins increases if you or your husband have a family history of twins. But unfortunately there is no sure fire way of conceiving twins. I wish you the best of luck though!
You might end up with triplets!
