What do you think about the coverage of mens matches over womens matches during slams?

I agree that mens tennis is more entertaining and exciting a lot of the times. However, I hate it when they show a boring mens match in grand slams over an exciting womens match. Sometimes they show reruns of mens matches, some not exciting, over some really good womens matches that never gets to be seen.

I’m totally with you. It’s sexist and silly. The women’s tour has had, and continues to have, great matches. It seems that somehow in the past few years the powers that be at the networks have gotten it into their heads that the only time women count in tennis is when they’re models running around on the court inefficiently collecting balls (Madrid Open), or when it’s someone who looks like Sharapova. Heck, I’d like to see more of Feli Lopez, Safin, or Gonzales, but in the men’s game it’s supposed to be all about skill not looks, but in the women’s the reverse. It sucks!

I totally agree with you.
I hope some day we will be able to follow all of the matches on ATP TV and WTA TV. So switch the channel whenever you want, watch what you are interested in and during the night you can watch reruns if you like or some of the matches that wasn’t run live.
